About Alfresco Photo

Nestled in a cozy yet modern apartment only 1,009 metres from the Atlantic Ocean in the middle of Nova Scotia's most densely populated area, Steffani and Timothy prepare for photographic excursions into the open air every day. Without exception. With one camera. An iPhone. One Samsung cell phone camera. Plenty of batteries. And multiple gigabytes of SD memory.

Alfresco Photo's photographer-in-chief, known as SC @ AlfrescoPhoto.blogspot.com, has been an avid photographer since being inspired at her own wedding. SC & TC's photographers were the major expense of a wedding which was small (under 30 guests) and inexpensive in every other way (catered by SC's mother). The married tandem who shot the wedding in 2003 saw people in a different way than most photographers and thus captured unique elements as a result.

Of course, Alfresco Photo doesn't exactly emphasize people now, does it? Alfresco Photo is all about the great outdoors, capturing those moments that may last only a few seconds or minutes... never to be witnessed again.

SC & TC have been pictured together since they were youthful teenage lovebirds. Their belief is most commonly that an event or a scene or an atmosphere or an aura or an environment or an adventure isn't remotely enjoyable without two cameras in four hands. In reality, the smattering of pictures made available on the world wide web via AlfrescoPhoto.blogspot.com is only the superior sampling of pictures taken every day, on every walk, in all kinds of weather.
